First Aid Training

Overview

The First Aid Training Course includes essential information and training in the first-aid skills recommended by OSHA, all in a format that can be delivered in a single day. This course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical professionals arrive. The course is modular to meet the needs of a specific workplace or group of employees. All scenarios and lecture material is based on your company’s policies, standard operating procedures, and industry requirements. The core module includes: general principles, medical emergencies and injury emergencies for first aid.

Certification Cards valid for two or three years.

Intended Audience

For employees in the manufacturing industry assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace, as well as those who want to learn first aid, CPR, and AED skills. Some employees are required to take this course as part of their employer’s efforts to comply with OSHA General Industry Regulation – 1910.151(b).  In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available.
